More About GHT

Threelac

It's a big world out there and there are lots of people very busy discovering and developing new products and re-discovering old ones all the time.

The way our products find themselves on our menu is always unique and interesting. ThreeLac is no exception. Stocking and selling ThreeLac was the suggestion of a customer, Jo Tottey. She had discovered this product on the Internet, where there is an incredible buzz about it.

My friend Marc Cobb from Dallas has a web site at www.candidafree.net where he tells his story with Candida. This single web site has caused a real buzz on the Internet and is responsible for our huge sales. All we have done is to offer the ThreeLac at the best price in the UK with free postage and it has become our biggest seller by a factor of two – we sell twice as many ThreeLac as our second best seller (Oxygen Elements Plus) purely because of this buzz. I mention this so you know ThreeLac is actually customer and product lead rather than company initiated. In six months we have sold nearly eight thousand cans of ThreeLac and at the time of writing have only returned the money to fewer than thirty customers.

When Jo asked me about ThreeLac I had never heard of it. Jo knew I imported products from America and she wanted to know if I could get it for her. I searched the net and discovered that it is made by the manufacturers of Oxygen Elements Plus, a great product which we were already selling in quite large numbers. So no problem there. I ordered a couple of tins and she bought one. Jo had been suffering from Candida for twelve years and a few weeks later I received the following e-mail.

"I have been taking 2 packets a day and from day one my itching (which my herbalist says was yeast in the bloodstream) has completely disappeared. I am not even sticking to a strict diet!! So I would appreciate it if you could try and get some more in stock for me as I will definitely be buying one a month from you if you can!!"

Impressive or what? The product originates from Japan where it has been amazingly successful – in 2001 over $50 million of ThreeLac was sold which does indicate that it works. Our American suppliers, Global Health Trax, were therefore not shy in describing ThreeLac as "the most effective Candida defense (sic) product in the marketplace". Since writing this the FDA in America have made them remove this reference to their product as it is making a medical claim and they'd prefer you didn't know about non-drug company products that can help you.

But that's another story. They go on to say, "This proprietary formula is teeming with live bacteria that start to work immediately to help rid the body of resilient Candida organisms. You can expect results starting with day one! The secret behind ThreeLac's effectiveness is the micro-encapsulation process that gets the Candida-fighting live bacteria safely past the acidic environment in the stomach. These oxygen-friendly bacteria go to work "dining" on anaerobic problem organisms that your body does not need. An added benefit is that it helps to balance the body's pH. Plus, all you Oxygen Elements Plus>users have already created a rich oxygen environment that ThreeLac loves. When you use this groundbreaking product to fight Candida, there will be no need to adhere to impossible dietary restrictions. For general health reasons, use common sense and avoid processed sweets. Eat your sweets "raw" and enjoy a good diet rich in nutritious foods".

Interestingly when talking about expected results they say, "Restoration of pH levels; a favorable pH is instrumental in the management of candidiasis. A relief from typical Candida symptoms, which may include depression, anxiety, recurring irritability, heartburn, indigestion, lethargy, extreme food and environmental allergies, acne, dry, flaky, itchy skin, jock itch, migraine headaches, recurring cystitis/vaginal infections, premenstrual tension, and menstrual problems."

So it seems worth looking at doesn't it? 60 packets of ThreeLac, which could last you up to two months, will cost you ?34.99. Do you need it? Well try the Candida test below and decide for yourself. As this is an expensive choice we are willing to split a can and send you eight packets for ?9.99. I believe this will be enough for you to feel the difference and then you may decide that the expensive purchase of the full can is the best value for money you've ever had.

Saliva Test - for Candida (Candidiasis) Yeast Disorder

You can try this simple test to see if you have candida: First thing in the morning, before you put ANYTHING in your mouth, get a clear glass. Fill with water and work up a bit of saliva, then spit it into the glass of water. Check the water every 15 minutes or so for up to one hour. If you have a problem that THREELAC can help with, you will see strings (like legs) travelling down into the water from the saliva floating on the top, or "cloudy" saliva will sink to the bottom of the glass, or cloudy specks will seem to be suspended in the water. If there are no strings and the saliva is still floating after at least one hour, you probably have candida under control. THREELAC would then be used to maintain good bowel flora and proper pH.

What Is It?
ThreeLac is lemon flavoured micro-encapsulated granules containing bacteria that are really good news for your gut. The powder is sprinkled into the mouth and the encapsulation means that the ensuing digestion process does not kill the contents. The encapsulation ensures they get through the hostile stomach acids to reach their area of effectiveness – the intestine.

As its name implies, ThreeLac contains three forms of spore-forming lactic acid bacteria. As well as helping with sugar digestion, these bacteria also induce the production of natural antibiotics in the gut. You can read more of their totally helpful properties in the ##Candida White paper report##. Here's what it says these bacteria can achieve,

"Our lives quite literally depend upon the untiring efforts of normal bowel bacteria to do constant battle against the invasion of toxic-acid producers. Your bowel ecosystem is the key to your health. It teams with life and is as rich in biologic diversity as any other ecosystem on Planet Earth. The benefits of lactic acid producers are numerous, including:

  • They eliminate or hold in abeyance the "bad guys" of the bowel ecosystem, i.e., the pathogens that overgrow, disrupt the bowel ecology and eventually invade the tissues, causing serious infections and breakdowns.
  • LAPs are able to break down most dairy products into simpler sugars by the enzymes they produce. Thus, LAP health guardians make it possible for many individuals to overcome lactose intolerance.
  • They also improve the poor protein digestion that's common among those with compromised bowel ecology.
  • They produce many life-giving molecules, such as members of vitamin B complex (folic acid and biotin) and vitamin K.
  • They support "good" intestinal flora and enable your body to assimilate proteins and minerals, especially calcium.
  • They increase the HDL/LDL ratio.
  • By normalizing bowel transit time and helping lower tissue and blood levels of free phenols, ammonia and polypeptides, they play a direct role in detoxification.
  • By helping acidify and detoxify our colon"

Gut Reaction
Once they have safely reached your intestinal tract these live micro-organisms purge it of the parasitic, fungal form of Candida. At the same time, ThreeLac helps to balance the pH levels in our bodies. The live organisms in ThreeLac have not been clinically proven to reduce candidiasis, but the phenomenal world wide sales and the testimonials we have already received indicate that this in fact exactly what happens.

As well as restoring the balance of power in your gut that nature intended, ThreeLac also oxygenates the intestinal tract, and restores energy levels and overall vitality.

As the graph on our ThreeLac home page shows you, our sales have been exceptional and over the year or so we have been selling it we have been asked lots of questions about it. Most of what we know is contained in the Nexus adverts. Elizabeth in the GHT Product Information department is a great resource for us and has been able to answer everything we/(i.e. you) have asked her. Here is a summary of some of the finer points about ThreeLac that we have learned.

The most common question we get asked is about the yeast in ThreeLac. ThreeLac contains yeast!!!???!!! Surely anyone who knows the first thing about Candida knows that it feeds off sugar and yeast – this is crazy as those probiotics advertised on TV being full of sugar. Well not quite.

We asked Elizabeth; "Yes, the question about the yeast has been asked before!

There is a small amount of Brewer's yeast, nutritional yeast, in the product to act as a food source for the lactobacilli until they can get through the stomach acids and do their job. This amount of yeast won't enflame the Candida simply because the numbers of organisms that survive the stomach acids are very high.

And then, just to show you we are all constantly learning about this wonderful probiotic a later mail from Elizabeth tells us, " I asked our product formulator recently again about the type of yeast in ThreeLac. She checked and told me it was grown using beets. So it's not Brewer's yeast as we previously thought.

I have since learned that because the yeast is not live, it cannot influence Candida. The yeast is consumed by good flora. Also, cellulase and protease are enzymes in both our LHB or Active Enzymes that break down the yeast cell wall and the inner part of the yeast organism. Dead yeast then excretes from the system."

We have also been asked about the streptococcus faecalis (AKA Enterococcus faecalis) in ThreeLac. Again over to Elizabeth. "Unfortunately the most abundant information available on the Internet and in other common source material is about toxic strains, and that can be quite scary. When I checked the Internet myself a year and a half ago I only found a one-sentence reference to benign probiotic strains of s.f. Hardly fair, balanced information.

She says, "You can try to assure people that ThreeLac is our top-selling product internationally, and if ThreeLac were harmful we would have had reports of dead and gravely ill users by now, which we haven't received."

So I think we can rest assured that the bacteria in ThreeLac are benign, probiotic strains of lactobacilli, not to be confused with toxic strains, which also exist.

Ok so we know it's safe and we know it works – why doesn't the label tell us how many bacteria are in the product? Why is this – is someone hiding something here?

Again over to Elizabeth; "Our product formulator tells me that the listing of numbers or organisms is not required with this particular probiotic product because of the micro encapsulation process (similar to enteric-coating on other newer probiotics products), which allows 80-90% survivability of organisms passing through the stomach acids.

Traditional manufacturers, before the new processing became available, put the billions on the label to let you know they have put a lot in, even though the percentage retained has been quite low, maybe 1 to 5%.

In addition, the FDA does not require that the numbers of organisms be listed. It is safe to assume, however, that there are comparably high numbers of organisms, although this exact information has not been provided to us by the Japanese manufacturer"

So although we don't know how many are there, we can safely assume that the ThreeLac organisms survive the stomach acids in large quantities. Again the results seem to validate this suggestion.

Using Threelac
Although ThreeLac is mega-successful for most people, it is also important to know that panacea it may be but universal panacea it isn't. Elizabeth advises as follows; "It cannot be assumed to be the correct remedy for any particular person because of the variety of fungal strains that exist. ThreeLac is compatible with other essential friendly flora such as acidophilus and bifidus, but does not replace them."

This is important and for optimal results taking a regular pro-biotic alongside the ThreeLac is a good idea. The Active Enzymes from GHT and the Rich capsule Enzyme product both contain probiotics as well as enzymes and both are ideal choices.

So is there anyone who won't benefit from ThreeLac – are there any contra-indications?

"Some people of course have sensitivities to the lemon powder or the refined yeast powder from a beet source which acts as a food source for the lactobacilli. For those who just want to test the product for their possible sensitivity to an ingredient, I often send a couple sticks for them to try. People seem to appreciate this very much. You might want to do this."

You will be pleased to know we already do this. We have both single sachets and an eight pack available for you to experiment with.

So some people do have sensitivities to the yeast in ThreeLac, or to the lemon flavoured powder, and may not be able to take it. If you think this may be an issue for you then you may want to start with a single sachet or maybe an eight pack to test this out. (Our money back guarantee applies to all sizes up to a full can – but not to the discounted six and twelve packs by the way. We assume that if you are buying this many then you know it is what you want)

Like all Health Renaissance products ThreeLac is powerful medicine (woops – we are not allowed to say that are we. So let me point out that I use the term medicine in the vernacular sense and not the MCA medical sense. Phew!). So respect for its efficacy seems to indicate starting slowly and we recommend this approach. It's always best to start slowly on any new product in order to find the amount that works best for you. The label says you can take "up to four or five packets a day" but many have reported one or two per day for the first month are sufficient. You will find web sites recommending going straight to the five per day regime but we suggest working towards this number rather than starting with it.

ThreeLac is a different probiotic strain than acidophilus and bifidus which are often accompanied by the advice to avoid hot drinks after taking them as these bacteria don't like heat. The three strains in ThreeLac actually prefer heat (not extreme heat), so it is not important to avoid hot drinks after taking the ThreeLac as is often the case with the probiotics you may be used to. We have discovered it can be taken on an empty stomach as well as meal time, with equally good effect.

And then there is the question of whether ThreeLac is a probiotic or not. Well firstly ThreeLac is not an antibiotic. Antibiotics are supposed to kill bad bacteria but also end up wiping out friendly bacteria as well.

ThreeLac is a combination of probiotic (good bacteria) which are designed to keep the population of bad bacteria in check in the intestinal tract. The ThreeLac lactic acid bacteria are targeted to Candida albicans reduction, and have been reported to address ringworm and some parasites, so far. Global health Trax's long term field trials, which are just starting, will yield more information for us in the next several months.

ThreeLac organisms are not to be confused with acidophilus, bifidus, thermopilus, bulgaricus, etc. which also are lactic acid bacteria, but with different purposes. These maintain the correct pH environment in the gut and limit the growth of bad bacteria. They may be taken right along with ThreeLac. It's wise to take acidophilus, bifidus, etc. periodically to ensure they are strongly working for you in your intestinal tract. The job of ThreeLac organisms is to go after Candida, specifically.

Ok so you tried it. You liked it. You enjoyed a course of it and are now feeling so much better. The final question is, "Do I need to stay on ThreeLac?" Let's let Elizabeth answer this one as well.

"A person does not have to stay on ThreeLac. If it happens to work for an individual for h/er particular strains, h/she may choose to stay on a minimal amount of one packet per day indefinitely. Others choose to stop taking it until an overgrowth appears again. If ThreeLac is to work for someone, h/she will notice some improvement within the first month."

A welcome effect of this maintenance dose is that ThreeLac seems to help with stool formation as well, and this is welcome indication to many that things are working well in the gut, and moving along just fine.

Nexus Adverts

Our huge sales are not down to me. They are down to you web surfers who have discovered what you are looking for elsewhere and then come to us to buy it. I have done only one advert for it. In early 2004 Nexus magazine published three excellent articles on Enzymes which we have been given permission to reprint and put on our site. Spurred on by the synchronicity of these articles. I chose to reward their readers (grin) with a series of adverts in Nexus magazine in the first quarter of 2004 introducing them to the wonders of ThreeLac. If you haven't seen Nexus, it is a wacky magazine that covers everything from UFO's and alternative science to health issues. These ads were written with both poles of the readership in mind?I hope you enjoy them.
